Tobacco 21 Resources

The Tobacco 21 (T21) ordinance passed in Trenton on February 16, 2017, in a collaborative effort from Trenton Health Team, Trinity Health, the City of Trenton, and many of our dedicated partners.  With the ordinance passed, the minimum legal age to buy tobacco products and nicotine delivery products has raised to 21 years old, which can prevent youth from trying tobacco products early in life, potentially saving thousands of preventable deaths from the effects lifelong smoking.  Here is a collection of resources about T21.   Read the original post here, or learn more about Tobacco 21 on their website.

The legal age to buy tobacco was raised to 21 for the state of New Jersey on July 21, 2017, and went into effect on November 1, 2017.
