Since its inception in late 2020, the Mercer County Overdose Fatality Review Team (OFRT) has met monthly with a dedicated multi-agency group to analyze and discuss perceived circumstances and drivers influencing overdoses. Their most recent report highlights the progress of the recommendations submitted in years past. The focus is on increased collaboration among providers, support for those indirectly impacted by substance use disorder, and targeted harm-reduction messaging.
