NJ FamilyCare is an important resource to help you keep access to the care you need. Trenton Health Team is here to help guide you through the process, whether you’re looking to renew, or sign up for coverage.Â
Cover All Kids is an initiative to reach all uninsured, income-eligible children in New Jersey under the age of 19. Families, parents, and guardians can apply for NJ FamilyCare (Medicaid) benefits for their children, regardless of immigration status.

A THT Community Health Worker will contact you to guide you through the process using your choice of preferred contact method. Bilingual services are available. We’ll also be able to answer any questions you may have. Complete this Google Form to be contacted.
NJ FamilyCare RedeterminationÂ
If you’ve already enrolled into NJ FamilyCare Medicaid benefits, the redetermination process has started meaning you must complete your eligibility renewal packet.
In April 2023, NJ FamilyCare resumed eligibility renewals after pausing due to the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. This means that NJ FamilyCare is currently redetermining eligibility for over 2 million NJ FamilyCare members. Those who do not respond to eligibility mailings risk no longer qualifying for NJ FamilyCare and may lose their medicaid benefits.
Check your mail! As soon as you receive your packet, we urge you to fill it out and send it in, even if it’s late.
