COVID-19 Tests, Food Access, Pharmacy Updates

Trenton Health Team is helping local healthcare providers and community organizations respond to COVID-19. As the situation unfolds, THT and our community partners are sharing information regarding public health efforts and available social services.

COVID-19/Coronavirus Testing Available

Anyone seeking testing must first contact a doctor. NO ONE WILL BE TESTED WITHOUT A DOCTOR’S ORDER. Instructions for Physicians Ordering Tests updated 5.18

There is no charge for testing at any Mercer County-run site.

Residents without a doctor may call Henry J. Austin Health Center 609-278-5900 to determine if a test is needed. HJAHC Telehealth Info  en español

Walk-Up Sites
Trenton –Walk-up test sites are open in each Trenton ward one day a week. These sites are reserved for residents who cannot access the county’s drive-through test site. Testing is by appointment only with a prescription/order from a physician.

Hightstown — Walk-up site is open Fridays at 12 noon in the parking lot of St. Anthony of Padua Church, 156 Maxwell Ave.

Drive-Up Site
Effective May 19, 2020, Mercer County  has moved drive-up testing from Quaker Bridge Mall to the parking lot across from the Mercer County Administration Building, 640 S. Broad Street, Trenton. Tests are available by appointment only for Mercer County residents age 18 or older who have a prescription from their primary health care provider.

Food Access & Pharmacy Information


In New Jersey, individuals must use a face covering when shopping at essential retail businesses, entering a restaurant or bar to pick up takeout orders, and when traveling on trains, buses, light rail, or paratransit vehicles.
