Eric H. Morales, 

Director of Grants & Development

Eric joined THT on January 3, 2023, and as part of the Strategies Team, will oversee THT grant and donor management. This includes planning, development, implementation oversight, and closure of all grants.

Eric comes from Puerto Rico, where for the last 20+ years, he worked for prominent universities in Puerto Rico as Director and Vice Chancellor of Sponsored Programs, specifically at the University of Puerto Rico – Central Administration, Ana G. Mendez University – Gurabo Campos, and most recently University of the Sacred Heart (Sagrado).

In his new professional venture, Eric is excited to become one of the newest members of the THT family, not only because of the work currently done for the benefit of the New Jersey – Trenton population but because when dealing with health issues such as diabetes or cancer, he has faced both close to his family. It’s a way of giving back.

He is a Stephen King enthusiast, likes to read in his spare time (whenever he gets the chance), loves Latin dancing, and is committed to his partner, Eduardo, dog Bambino, and cat Sofi. He also loves spending family time with his nieces (8) and nephews (3).

Eric earned a Bachelor’s degree in Science – specialty in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico (1982) and an MBA specializing in management from the Ana G. Mendez University – Gurabo Campus (formerly Universidad del Turabo) in 2018.
