NJTV Highlights Trenton’s History, Future with “In Your Neighborhood” Feature
On June 29, NJTV aired a special feature on Trenton through their “In Your Neighborhood” programming. Filmed in Arm & Hammer Park, the hour-long special highlights Trenton’s significant history, as well as projecting its flourishing future as the result of revitalization and economic development happening now in the capital city.
Beginning after a wonderful interview with I Am Trenton and the Trenton YMCA, Trenton Health Team’s executive director Gregory Paulson was one of the individuals interviewed as part of a highlight on the Greenwood Ave. Farmer’s Market, a project run by the Trenton YMCA and New Jersey Partnership for Healthy Kids that provides shoppers with fresh produce from local farmers, healthy food tastings, summer meals for kids, and free health screenings through THT’s Wheels to Wellness mobile health clinic. The special also included interviews with John Hatch from Clarke Katon Hintz Architects on revitalization of Trenton, Jeff Hurley from Trenton Thunder, Senator Shirley Turner, and Joe Festa of State Barber Shop.
