David Baum joined Trenton Health Team in 2025 as Data Systems Manager. His responsibilities focus on managing the Trenton Health Information Exchange, which health care providers use to coordinate care for community members, and software that colleagues use to track their activities and the impact of THT’s many community programs.
David began his career as a world language teacher. He taught English and pedagogy in Uzbekistan, and then ESL and Spanish in New York City. Prior to joining THT, he worked in various roles at Educational Testing Service. For many years, he designed and developed language proficiency assessments. Subsequently, he managed strategy and operations for proprietary software used by assessment companies.
A proud native of Denver and Chicago, David is also a proud New Jersey transplant, having married and raised three children in the Garden State. In addition to volunteering, including helping community organizations use technology to solve problems, he enjoys cooking and the outdoors, especially biking and hiking.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Northwestern University and a Master of Education degree in Language Education from Rutgers University.
