Legna Cabrera serves as the Director of Administration at Trenton Health Team. As an experienced operations leader with over 20 years of experience, she strengthens mission-driven organizations through strategic leadership, organizational development, and operational excellence. Throughout her career, she has built and managed systems across human resources, finance, and program management to improve efficiency while advancing equity and social impact.
Prior to joining THT, Legna was the Managing Director of the Center for Innovation in Worker Organization at Rutgers University and held leadership and research positions at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. She has also taught leadership development, DEI, and research courses at Empire State University and the City University of New York. She is proud to join the team and continue building stronger organizations that improve the lives of workers and communities.
Legna is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Adult and Continuing Education at Rutgers University. She also holds a Master of Employment and Labor Relations from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from the University of Puerto Rico – Río Piedras Campus.
In her personal time, Legna serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Worker Justice Project in Brooklyn, NY. She is a proud dog mom and enjoys Saori weaving and reading.
