Gladys Alvarado

Bilingual Medical Assistant

Gladys Alvarado joined Trenton Health Team in September 2024 as a Bilingual Medical Assistant for the New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection (NJCEED) program team.

Before joining THT, Gladys Worked as a Medical assistant at Zufall Health. She assisted patients with taking vitals, and performed several kinds of health tests and screenings. Gladys also helped with pediatric vaccines and assisted medical doctors with GYN patients. Gladys has worked in the public health department for 10+ years; when offered the position at THT, Gladys was exited she would continue her path serving the Trenton community where she resides now.

Gladys is originally from Ecuador but raised in Queens, NYC. She graduated from Sandford-Brown Institute as a Medical Assistant in 2010. In her free time, Gladys enjoys spending time with her 2 English bulldogs, Panda and Rocky. She also loves food and traveling.
