Program Coordinator

Oluwatoyosi (Bilquis) Busari joined the Trenton Health Team in January 2022 as a program coordinator assisting the COVID-19 Outreach and Response Team in assessing and alleviating the social and health impacts of COVID-19 through targeted outreach to at-risk, vulnerable populations.

Before joining THT, Bilquis worked as a healthcare professional responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating staff and office activities at various health clinics in New Jersey to provide quality, cost-effective patient care. She has worked alongside Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Acupuncturists to educate patients regarding injury prevention to ensure patients engage in an active treatment lifestyle.

Bilquis completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Rutgers University, where she majored in Public Health with a concentration in Global Health. Bilquis has a long history of health advocacy and volunteering initiatives that serve underserved communities.

Bilquis likes to spend her free time with friends and family. She enjoys hiking, museums, and live music. Since emigrating from Nigeria, Bilquis has lived in New Jersey all her life and looks forward to supporting the Trenton Health Team in its commitment to provide adequate public health services to the citizens of Trenton.
