Trenton Health Team Takes Advantage of Opportunities Offered by Accountable Care Organizations to Benefit Trenton Residents

PLAINSBORO, NJ) – The inaugural edition of The American Journal of Accountable Care issued today features an article by Trenton Health Team’s executive director, Ruth E. Perry, M.D., on the THT’s actions to transform healthcare for the people of Trenton into a high-quality system by laying the foundation for an Accountable Care Organization. The American Journal of Accountable Care, a new, stakeholder-driven publication from the publisher of The American Journal of Managed Care, will be focused on healthcare reform.

Dr. Perry’s article is called “Building The Infrastructure For A Safety-Net Accountable Care Organization.” She describes the Trenton Health Team as a “young community health improvement collaborative… that is transforming healthcare for the community, with the community.”
