THT Applauds Juneteenth as National Holiday
Honoring the historic and cultural importance of the day and standing in solidarity with our colleagues and community members, Trenton Health Team offices will be closed Friday June 18 in recognition of Juneteenth.
THT understands health cannot improve without addressing community conditions, social justice, and bias. Equity is at the heart of our mission and drives our work on health care policy and practice.
Racism is a threat to public health. THT strives to be truly anti-racist — not simply non-racist or equitable — in our programs, with our partners and among our co-workers.
THT applauds the designation of Juneteenth as a new national holiday, and pledges to work alongside our neighbors to secure justice, an end to violence, and a way forward together.
