Videsha Joshi, MPH,

Senior Program Manager, Maternal and Child Health

Videsha Joshi joined Trenton Health Team in April 2022 and is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of viable coalitions and partnerships among civic, community, health and human services partners, and families to plan programs, services, and supports designed to improve Maternal and Child Health in Mercer County. In addition, she has a significant role in the nurse home visiting program, Family Connects, a partnership between Trenton Health Team, Capital Health, and Central Jersey Family Health Consortium.

Videsha has a bachelor’s degree in nutritional sciences from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in public health from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. She has over ten years’ experience in a wide range of public health areas, including nutrition counseling for HIV patients, managing HIV care grants, directing a designated AIDS center, implementing electronic medical records at federally-qualified health centers, transforming medical practices into patient-centered medical homes, and coordinating COVID-19 vaccine clinics.

Each of these experiences taught Videsha the importance of taking great care to serve the underserved. She is passionate about ensuring each and every one of us has food security and equal access to healthcare.

In her spare time, Videsha greatly enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and listening to audiobooks.
