Shelby Guzman, LPN, 

NJCEED Nurse Case Manager

Shelby Guzman joined THT  in 2018, initially as Outreach Coordinator, and now serving as NJCEED Nurse Care Manager.

Shelby coordinates screening and follow-up care appointments for patients receiving services through the New Jersey Cancer Education and Early Detection program. Since joining THT, she has overseen more than 2,000 cancer screenings for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals in the Mercer County area.

Prior to joining THT, Shelby worked as the Office Manager at Latin American Legal Defense and Education Fund (LALDEF), a non-profit serving the immigrant community in Mercer County.

Shelby is bilingual in English and Spanish. She graduated from Rowan University with degrees in Psychology and Biology and returned to school to pursue studies in nursing at Jersey College.

She is a second-generation Guatemalan-American immigrant and strongly believes that every person deserves access to equitable health care. Shelby is passionate about serving her community and helping bridge the healthcare gap.
