Amanda Mungcal,

Project Manager

Amanda Mungcal joined Trenton Health Team in October 2020 as the Community Health Coordinator supporting the Care Management Team in ensuring Trenton residents are familiar with, and have access to, health services they need.

Prior to joining Trenton Health Team, she served with the NJ Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (NJ EFNEP) through Rutgers Cooperative Extension, completing data entry and analysis of nutritional and dietary behavior. This work contributed to the improvement of community nutrition through evidence-based education, and to development of healthy lifestyles for individuals and their families throughout the state.

After earning her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Rowan College at Burlington County, Amanda completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutritional Sciences concentrated in Community Nutrition, with a Minor in Dance, at Rutgers University.

Aside from food, nutrition and health advocacy, Amanda is passionate about dance and her faith. She has worked with elementary school-aged kids as a Sunday school mentor and has choreographed pieces both at Ballet Technique of Hamilton Ballet Theatre and as a student choreographer for Rutgers Performing Dance Company.

A proud daughter of two Filipino immigrants, Amanda is a native New Jerseyan committed to fostering relationships with, and providing care for, the underserved of Trenton. She is grateful to be a part of THT’s vision to empower and support the Trenton community.
