Director of Grants and Development
Iana joined Trenton Health Team in 2019 as Director of Grants and Development, a role that builds on her passion for mobilizing resources and partnerships to support on-the-ground change in Trenton.
Her commitment to the city has included both personal and professional roles. While at Isles, Inc., she managed Trenton’s first citywide vacant property survey, which included designing and launching the open data and mapping portal at www.RestoringTrenton.org and supporting citywide data and policy initiatives around neighborhood revitalization. She has managed creative placemaking, public art, and small business support projects in several Trenton neighborhoods, including multiple murals, a grant program to support small businesses, and the first two parklets in the city. She currently serves on the board of I Am Trenton Community Foundation, which has provided funding for over 180 grassroots projects led by Trentonians and community groups, and is part of the organizing team for Art All Day, Artworks Trenton’s annual open art studio tour.
Her prior work includes community development and creative placemaking projects in East Orange and Orange, NJ, and managing multi-country regional projects related to population statistics, public health, and advocacy at the United Nations Population Fund.
Iana holds a BA in History, Philosophy, and Social Studies of Science and Medicine from the University of Chicago, and a MS in Urban Policy from the New School for Public Engagement.
