Thank you to all of those who were able to attend our December Symposium. This event was very successful and we look forward to following up as we continue our planning process.

Please join us at our monthly meeting to continue the development of a youth violence reduction action strategy for Trenton. TPPB is coordinating a citywide effort to develop a strategic action plan to address and combat youth violence in Trenton, based on the National Forum Toolkit (available here). Tentative agenda:
2:45pm: New participant orientation. If you have not attended TPPB in recent months, please plan on attending this pre-meeting orientation. We will provide an overview of the Trenton Youth Violence Reduction Action Strategy process and summarize the progress of the working groups so far so you can effectively participate.

3:00pm: Welcome, Introductions, Updates, Youth Violence Symposium

3:10pm: Working groups, based around our four issue areas: Prevention, Intervention, Enforcement, and Re-Entry. Groups will continue defining goals and strategies that reduce youth violence. Anyone interested in working on these issue areas is invited to participate.

4:45pm: Wrap Up, Next steps

We welcome anyone interested to be a part of this process; this is your and your organization’s opportunity to shape the direction of youth violence reduction efforts in Trenton for years to come. Please share this invitation widely.
