100th Annual Mercer County 4-H Fair at Howell Living History Farm

Join us at Howell Living History Farm for a truly enjoyable day! The fair includes animal shows and exhibits, homemade ice cream, hay rides, pony rides, music, magic shows, and farm tours. Check out displays by the Rutgers Master Gardners of Mercer County, Mercer County Wildlife Center Friends, Mid-State Beekeepers Association, and many more! Free admission and parking for all! Please bring a non-perishable food donation for Rutgers Against Hunger.

In Celebration of our 100th 4-H Fair in Mercer County we are planning an Old Fashioned Dance complete with a Caller and music by the Jugtown Mountain String Band. The dance will begin at 6 in our show tent, we hope to see you there!

Mercer County is offering free shuttle service to the 100th Annual Mercer County 4-H Fair at Howell Farm, July 28-29!!!
To reserve a free spot on our shuttle to the 100th Annual Mercer County 4-H Fair at Howell Farm on Saturday and Sunday, July 28-29, please go to this link and answer a few questions.  You must reserve your spot no later than Wednesday, July 25.
 The 100th Mercer County 4-H Fair at Howell Farm includes animal shows and exhibits, farm tours, live music, pony rides, hayrides, magic shows, storytelling, puppet shows, robotics demonstrations, archery, homemade ice cream, dancing, and more!  For a complete schedule of Saturday and Sunday’s activities, click here.  The fair will also include many educational demonstrations and exhibits from several community organizations.
Here are a few key points:
 ·         Only those making reservations by Wednesday, July 25 will be allowed on the free shuttles provided by Mercer County.
 ·         You will receive an email message confirming the date and time of your shuttle.  Please arrive at the shuttle 15 minutes before your departure time.
 ·         All shuttles leave from our parking lot at 930 Spruce Street, next to the Trenton Farmers Market (just down from Halo Farm and between the Trenton Farmers Market and 7-Eleven).
 ·         All minors must be supervised by a responsible adult.  We need the supervising adult to complete the short questionnaire to reserve a spot for their group.
 ·         The shuttle to the fair and admission to the fair are free.  The demonstrations and animal exhibits, farm tours, live music, magic shows, storytelling, and dancing are also free.  However, we recommend you bring cash if you would like to purchase food (pulled pork, hamburgers, baked potatoes, cookies, homemade ice cream from Farmer Jim), pony rides, or hayrides.
